The Shard Hotel
“Rare. Refined. Timeless.” A quiet-luxury boutique hotel for the heart of Asaba — 22 keys across Standard, Deluxe and Executive rooms, with a restaurant, outdoor bar and conference room.
The Concept
The Shard takes its name from a finely cut crystal: just as light moves differently through every facet, every guest arrives with their own purpose and story. The hotel is where those journeys begin, pause and continue.
The interiors favour modern simplicity and emotional warmth — fluted timber, brushed bronze, linen and leather in the colours of local clay, with curated travel photography and imagery of Delta State in place of conventional artwork.
Jefferson’s Role
The hotel’s interiors were designed by Mayfair Design Studio. Jefferson was commissioned to execute the design, delivering the FF&E and OS&E through to completion from a comprehensive schedule covering every guest-facing and back-of-house department — from guestrooms, restaurant and kitchen to ICT, power, uniforms and maintenance.
Bespoke joinery, from headboards and wardrobes to the reception desk and bar counters, is specified for fabrication by ADO Atelier.
